Plenty of men end up with a Yorkshire Terrier and are a little surprised by how much dog they got. The American Kennel Club standard caps the breed at 7 pounds, and the Yorkie sits in the Toy Group, but the temperament is pure terrier: the breed was built to chase rats, and it still treats every delivery driver as a matter for the security team. The long coat is hair rather than a double coat, so it keeps growing and gets either a show-length trim or a short puppy cut. Most owners pick the puppy cut and a lint roller.

Do these shirts say Yorkie dad?
No. They are original Yorkshire Terrier designs picked for the man who lives with one: noir and gentleman posters, print-shop and drafting-table puns, and a few attitude designs. None of them is on our funny Yorkie or Yorkie mom pages, so you can mix designs from all three.
Is a Yorkie shirt too cute for a guy?
Not these. We skipped the bows and the pink portraits and kept the designs that read like vintage posters and technical drawings, with the Yorkie as the small, confident star. Most come in Coffee, Apricot and Gray, and a few in Black or Army Green.
What size should I get for a man?
