If you live with a black Lab, a shirt with a yellow dog on it is just a Lab shirt. This page is only black Labradors: we went through every Labrador design we make, looked at each picture, and kept the ones where the dog is clearly black. Designs where the coat is drawn in green, blue or grayscale, or where you would have to squint, were left out.
The American Kennel Club standard for the breed allows three colors, black, yellow and chocolate, and describes a black Lab simply: all black, with a small white spot on the chest allowed. That glossy, all-black coat is what the designs below are built around. Working Labs: "Kind Eyes, Hard Work" with a training dummy in its mouth, "Carry the Good Thing" standing in shallow water, and "Let the Good In" charging through a splash. On the road: "Keep the Moment Moving" and "The Warm Way Forward," both with the dog crossing an unfolded trail map, and two lantern carriers, "Leave a Better Trace" and "Make a Better Morning." Portraits with attitude: "Cover Star" in a city photo collage, "Hard to Hold," "End of Line," "One Copy Stays" and "Say Less, Deeper." And the cozy side: "Wait, Then Warmth," a black Lab tucked under a blanket, and "Enough for Now," stretched out next to the words.
A practical note from owners: black dog hair shows least on the darker tee colors, so if your Lab sheds on you, pick black or army green over the lighter shades.

Is the dog black on every shirt here?
Yes. We only kept designs where the Labrador is clearly drawn with a black coat. The tee itself comes in three colors per design, so check that the color you pick shows the dog well: the black Lab stands out best on the lighter and green tees, while dog hair hides best on black.
Do you have chocolate Lab shirts?
Only a handful of our Lab designs show a chocolate coat so far, not enough for a page of their own. You can find them in the full Labrador collection, for example Rise Easy, Round the Bend, Back in Flow and Words Under.
How do these tees fit?
The Washed Tee is a relaxed straight unisex cut and true to size, from S to 5XL, so most people order their usual size. Check the chest width in our size guide. Tees are printed to order, so we cannot take returns for a wrong size.
